Accessibility in Practice

Accessibility is not a one-time project, but an ongoing part of modern web development. The following references showcase a selection of TYPO3 projects in which we have integrated accessibility into the development, optimization, and long-term support phases.

Accessibility Case Studies

Sgalinski

Our corporate website serves as a technological benchmark for modern TYPO3 projects. As part of the relaunch, accessibility was taken into account from the outset – from semantic HTML and keyboard navigation to an integrated accessibility menu and optimised contrast levels.

The website forms the basis for many client projects and is continuously being developed and improved in terms of usability and digital accessibility.

TYPO3 Website Base

The Website Base serves as the technical foundation for numerous TYPO3 projects. Accessible components, semantic structures, ARIA support, keyboard navigation and the integrated accessibility menu are already standard features and can be flexibly extended.

It demonstrates how accessibility can be integrated into a TYPO3 project right from the start.

Citypower

We are continuously developing and maintaining the TYPO3 platform for CityPower. Accessibility requirements are incorporated directly into front-end development, thereby improving usability and the user experience in the long term.

Goetel

goetel is one of the leading regional fibre-optic and telecommunications providers in Germany. As part of the ongoing development of the TYPO3 platform, we assist with the implementation of modern front-end components and the improvement of accessibility and user-friendliness.

Among other things, we optimise semantic HTML, keyboard navigation, screen reader compatibility and accessible interaction elements. In this way, we ensure that digital services remain accessible to as many users as possible and can be maintained in the long term.

Enni

For ENNI, we support the ongoing technical development of the TYPO3 website. Accessibility is a constant consideration throughout this process – from structured content and semantic HTML to improved user guidance.

LSW

At LSW, modern TYPO3 components have been implemented in line with current accessibility requirements. The focus is on a clear information architecture, responsive design and usability that is as inclusive as possible.

GVG

On behalf of GVG, we support the ongoing development of the TYPO3 platform. As part of this, accessibility aspects such as keyboard navigation, contrast, semantic structures and user-friendly components are continuously optimised.

Accessibility is regarded as an integral part of sustainable website development.

Mobile Notheizung

The platform has been further developed to meet modern accessibility requirements. The focus was on intuitive navigation, semantic components and improved usability across different devices.
